Introduction to Reading Intervention

We invite you to participate in a summer practicum on basic assessment and intervention for struggling readers in grades 2-9 who are “stuck” between primer & third grade reading ability. Practica run daily 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuition is $375.00 (includes The Howard Street Tutoring Manual and a binder of assessment and tutoring materials).

Participants who satisfactorily complete the program will receive a certificate recommending 25 re-licensure points OR 3 Semester Continuing Education credits (available through the U of U Academic Outreach & Continuing Education).

June 9 - June 27, 2008 (M - F)

July 14 - 17, 21 - 23, 28 - 31, Aug. 4 - 7, 2008

Registration and tuition are due on or before April 11, 2008.
(Space is extremely limited, so register today)

You must attend one of the following orientation meetings:
Tuesday, May 6, or Wednesday, May 7, from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.
